About

What GulfThrone is

The board, how a position is decided, and what it takes to move — in the shortest form we can write it.

In one paragraph

GulfThrone is a ranked advertising board: twelve placements on a single page, sold to brands across the Gulf and ordered by what each brand has paid in total. Entry is $10,000. There is no term and no expiry — a brand holds its position for as long as its total stays inside the top twelve, and the page shows how many days that has been. Every position including the Throne goes to the larger total, so one dollar more takes any of them.

The position it takes

GulfThrone is built to be the most expensive digital advertising position in the Gulf, and to be able to show its working. There is no rate card behind an email address, no negotiated discount, and no impression estimate. Every total is on the page, every position is arithmetic anyone can redo, and a brand that is passed keeps its name, its total and its day count on the Fallen list below the board. What a brand buys is a standing other brands can see it holding, and can see what it would cost to take.

Questions

What is GulfThrone?

GulfThrone is an advertising board of twelve placements on one page, sold to brands in the Gulf and ranked by what each brand has paid in total. Entry is $10,000. There is no term: a brand holds its position until other brands pay more, and the page counts the days it has held it.

What does a brand actually get?

A ranked position on the page carrying the brand's mark, its name, one line of its own words, and a link. Position one is the Throne, at the top of the page and the largest size on the site; positions two to four are the Royal Circle; five to twelve the Court. There is no end date. When a brand is passed out of the top twelve it moves to the Fallen list below the board, which keeps its name, its total and how long it held a position.

What does a position cost?

There is no price per position. Entry is $10,000, and after that the ranking is pure arithmetic: every position, the Throne included, goes to the larger total, so passing a brand costs one dollar more than its total. The board prints that figure against every position.

What happens between paying and appearing?

We confirm the money, set the moment your brand enters the board, and tell you that moment in writing. You appear at it, and we will not publish you before it. Until then you can withdraw: written notice reaching us more than 48 hours before that moment returns the full amount, inside those 48 hours it does not, and if we never put the moment in writing the window has not started and it returns the full amount whenever it arrives. Once you are on the board there is no right of withdrawal at all.

Can a brand lose its position?

Yes, and the site says so everywhere it can. A position is held only for as long as the brand's total stays inside the top twelve. When a thirteenth brand's total passes the lowest on the board, the brand holding that lowest total stops being displayed and moves to the Fallen list. Totals are never reduced and never expire: adding to one puts that brand back the moment it passes the lowest total on the board.

Who is the board for?

Brands that want to be seen holding a position rather than to buy impressions: luxury, real estate, private aviation, jewellery, hospitality, finance and professional services across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf. It is not a performance channel and it does not pretend to be one — nothing here is priced per click.

Are payments refundable?

Before publication, in three cases, and in full. One: we decline to publish. Two: the placement is not published for any reason other than the advertiser's own withdrawal. Three: the brand withdraws in writing and that notice reaches us more than 48 hours before the go-live moment we gave it in writing — or we never put that moment in writing at all, in which case the window never started and the withdrawal is refunded in full however late it arrives. Inside those final 48 hours there is no refund. After publication, none at all: a total buys a standing calculated from time to time, and falling off the board is the board working rather than failing, so it is not a refund event. A refund that does fall due is paid within 10 business days to the account it came from.

Who operates GulfThrone?

GulfThrone is operated by Galzura Software Company. Placements are sold under a written agreement governed by DIFC law, which can be read in full on this site before any details are handed over, and payment is by bank transfer against a proforma invoice.
