Terms of placement

GulfThrone rents advertising space. A seat gives you the right to display your logo, brand name, one short message and one outbound link in a specific position on gulfthrone.com for a fixed term of 30 consecutive days.

A seat is not an equity stake, a partnership, a franchise, a licence to use the GulfThrone name, or a claim on any asset. It is advertising space and nothing more.

Every price is published on the site and is the same for everyone. Prices are quoted in US dollars and cover a single 30-day term: The Throne $2,000; Royal Circle $750 per seat; Court $250 per seat; Guest $50 per seat.

The term begins on the day we publish your seat, not on the day you submit the form or send payment. Bank transfer fees, currency conversion costs and any taxes applicable in your jurisdiction are yours to bear.

Submitting the reservation form marks the seat Reserved and holds it for you for 48 hours. During the hold nobody else can take that seat.

If we have not received your bank transfer within 48 hours, the hold lapses automatically and the seat returns to Available. A lapsed hold creates no obligation on either side.

Submitting the form is a request, not a concluded contract. The contract forms when we publish your seat.

Payment is by bank transfer only. No card details are collected on this site and no payment is taken through it.

After you submit the form we email you a proforma invoice with our bank details. Your seat is published once the funds have cleared into our account.

Once payment has been received the fee is non-refundable, in whole or in part, including if you choose to stop the placement early or change your mind.

The single exception is section 6: if we decline your content after you have paid, we refund the fee in full.

We decline placements for adult content, gambling, unlicensed financial or investment services, counterfeit or replica goods, weapons, recreational drugs, and anything unlawful in the United Arab Emirates or the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

We also decline content that infringes a third party’s trademark or copyright, that impersonates another business, or that is deceptive.

We may decline or remove a placement on these grounds at any point. If we do so after payment, the fee is refunded in full. If we remove a live placement on these grounds, we refund the unused portion of the term pro rata.

You confirm that you own or are licensed to use the logo and materials you submit, and that displaying them does not infringe anyone’s rights.

At the end of 30 days the seat is cleared automatically and returns to Available. There is no automatic renewal and no continuing right to that position.

We aim to contact you before the term ends so you can renew if you wish, but renewal is not guaranteed and the seat may be taken by someone else once it is free.

You may replace your logo, message or link once during the term at no charge. Email the new material to us and we will update the seat within two business days.

Further changes during the same term may be made at our discretion.

We work to keep the site available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Brief outages, maintenance windows and events outside our reasonable control do not entitle you to a refund.

If the site is unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours during your term, we extend your term by the full period of the outage.

We make no promise about traffic volume, impressions, clicks, enquiries or any commercial outcome. You are renting a position on a page, not a result.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with a placement is limited to the fee you paid for that placement.

Advertisers displayed on gulfthrone.com are advertisers. Their presence is not an endorsement, a recommendation, a partnership or a verification of any kind by GulfThrone, and nothing on the site should be read as such.

Outbound links from seats carry rel="sponsored nofollow" markup, as required for paid placements.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in force.
